Eden Resort

Address: Loteamento Quinta da Bolota – Lote 2, 8200-053, Portugal

We love the name of this hotel and as all-inclusive Portugal hotels go, it’s up there with one of the top ones in the country.

As with a lot of the Portugal hotels, it’s located in the near-always sunny Algarve region making it a perfect year-round destination for a family holiday.

At the hotel you’re going to find something for everyone to enjoy. Let mum have some time alone at the Adam and Eve spa and allow her to indulge in a massage or a different therapy of her choice. The kids will absolutely love the aqua fun area which consists of water-spitting turtles, water slides and the opportunity to participate in some fun-filled water games – the only difficulty you’ll have is getting them out in time for dinner! For dad, there’s plenty of chance to participate in one of the experiences on offer or just simply relax at the bar with a beer.

The whole family can be catered for at the on-site restaurant which offers a buffet-style service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort

Address: Victoria Gardens, Av. dos Descobrimentos 0, 8125-309 Quarteira, Portugal

Still sitting in the south of Portugal, again in the Algarve is the Anantara Vilamoura Resort, which, for all the golf lovers is handily located next to Victoria golf course.

We understand that the kids aren’t going to be that bothered about the golf course, and as this is a blog about all-inclusive Portugal holidays, there are still plenty of reasons to take the whole family to this Portugal hotel.

This one is slightly different to the others because it’s actually spilt in two; an adult only area, and a family area.

The kids are certainly going to want to get in the swimming pool at the first opportunity, and Anantara Vilamoura has got that covered with a choice of four different ones – three outdoor and one indoor. One is also a heated pool, so if you are visiting at a cooler time of year there is no worry about the kids getting cold.

If you fancy taking a break from parenting for the afternoon, allowing the kids to participate in either the Adventurers Kids’ Club or the Teens’ Club could be the perfect way of getting some peace and quiet whilst they participate in fun-filled activities.

AP Adriana Beach Resort

Address: Estrada da Rocha Baixinha Apartado 6115, 8200-379 Albufeira, Portugal

When researching and reading about this particular Portugal hotel I came across a comment from a previous visitor who, in their review said “if you’re looking for a family-friendly hotel in Portugal, this is the place for you” and first-hand recommendations are always a great way of gauging how good a hotel is.

We’re in the sunny south of Portugal again for this all-inclusive hotel but this time it’s a slight further along the coast to most of the previous hotels we’ve written about far. For context, this hotel is about 7 miles away from Albufeira.

The great thing about this beach is that it sits directly on the beach and is set in a quieter environment, meaning guests can enjoy a relaxing and tranquil experience compared with hotels located in busier areas.

Even though it is a short distance away from Albufeira, for only €1 you can take advantage of the shuttle bus if you wish to go there for the day or evening.

As for keeping the family entertained, there’s plenty on offer from 2 adult pools, 2 kids pools, several sports facilities, including football field, archery, beach volleyball, tennis and mini-golf.

At the AP Adriana Beach Resort adults can relax in the spa or workout in the gym which is free to access, however, you must be over 16 years old.

Royal Savoy hotel

Address: R. Carvalho Araùjo 7, 9000-022 Funchal, Portugal

As you may expect from the name, the Royal Savoy hotel is the only 5-star hotel that makes our list of all-inclusive Portugal hotels.

Located in Madeira, again in the south of Portugal we are including this hotel because it offers something different to the Portugal hotels we’ve listed so far.

So, what can you expect from the Royal Savoy hotel? Well, firstly there are five different styles of rooms to choose from: Garden View, Ocean View, Junior Suite Ocean View, Superior Suite Ocean View, and Penthouse Rooftop – as you may have gathered all come with different price tags!

Looking at the Junior Suite Ocean View style room this includes a combined living room / bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchenette and balcony. The kitchenette is a really unique addition as it means you can self-cater for parts of your holiday, which is different to other hotels we’ve looked at so far. This room also caters for either 3 adults or 2 adults plus one child between the ages of 2-12.

You’ll be well catered for at the Royal Savoy, with the Amanda restaurant providing high-end cuisine in the evenings and the poolside Neptunus bar providing light meals and refreshments throughout the day. If this isn’t enough there’s also the poolside Armada bar providing refreshments throughout the day, or the Thatcher’s or Piano bars providing even more space to indulge in your favourite tipple.

Whilst at the Royal Savoy you can also indulge in one of the great activities on offer, from yoga to aqua aerobics, or why not try to pick up some of the local lingo at a Portuguese lesson.

Address: Praia Dos Reis Magos, 9125-024 Caniço, Portugal

Guess where in Portugal we are for this hotel? Yep, you got it right, we’re again in the tourist heaven of the south coast. We’ve included this Portugal hotel in our round-up because the name The Views Oasis just screams enjoyment, relaxation and good times.
