1. Cobbleacre Park

Located in Norfolk’s green countryside, Cobbleacre Park offers five impressive multi-purpose fishing lakes with opportunities for beginners and experienced visitors. They also provide match fishing throughout the year — inquire before you go if you want to test your fishing skills.

Fish to catch at this location include tench, carp, catfish, roach, perch, and more.

Don’t worry about booking a hotel! On-site camping is available here. You’ll also find a small shop with tackle, bait, and extra supplies. 

2. Gatton Waters

Address: Gatton Waters, Lynn Road, King’s Lynn, PE31 6BZ

Gatton Waters is a King’s Lynn campsite that keeps anglers returning annually. 

A family business that’s been under the Donaldson family for three decades, this campsite and fishing spot is ideal for anyone who wants to escape the buzz of modern life. It’s also adult-only and dog friendly. 

You’ll find an eight-acre fishing lake and plenty of space to cast your rod here. Fishers here enjoy catching tench, perch, bream, roach, carp, and rudd. Day and weekly tickets are available for those not staying at the site.

Guests here can pitch up caravans for the duration of their stay and make use of the on-site shower and toilet blocks. There’s also on-site Wi-Fi during office hours. As far as holiday parks with fishing lakes go, this one covers all necessities. 

Tent camping is not available, though.

3. Narborough Fisheries

Address: Main Road, Narborough, Norfolk, PE32 1TE

If the above sounds good, consider Narborough Fisheries for your next trip. The lakes here are fed via the River Nar’s chalk stream water, and there are two trout lakes, a mixed course lake, a specimen carp lake, and a match lake with more than 9,000 fish. 

The mixed-course lake is home to tench, roach, bream, perch, carp, and chub. Anglers can enjoy the spot via six wooden platforms.

This spot is easily accessible from the A47, and many caravan pitches are on offer. Pitches cost £33 in the high season from April to September.  

4. Everglades Caravan Park and Fishing Lodges

The Everglades Caravan Park and Fishing Lodges is a great spot for all fishers, including beginners. 

Situated on the north Norfolk coast by Downham Market, here you can find camping with fishing in a relaxed environment. Guests can pitch tents, caravans, and motor homes. Three on-site fishing lodges are also available.

Here you can explore three large lakes and a range of fish. Popular catches include bream, tench, rudd, perch, roach, and barbel. Carp fishing is also in-demand, as the fish are known to be 30 lbs and over.

5. Whitlingham Broad

This campsite allows tent pitching, but anglers can add some luxury into their stay if desired via the yurts and boutique bell tents. 

6. Virginia Lake Caravan Park

Address: Smeeth Road, St. Johns Fen End, Marshland St James, Wisbech, PE14 8JF

Want to enjoy your fishing holiday in a caravan? We’ve got you covered. Virginia Lake Caravan Park has both caravan and camping, ensuring you can stay in your preferred style while relaxing and fishing. 

This Norfolk campsite is located between Wisbech and King’s Lynn and is a popular spot for dedicated anglers. The fishing lake here covers 2 acres and is home to perch, barbel, rudd, bream, chub, roach, tench, and carp of 30lb plus. 

Only campsite guests can use this lake, so book in before you pitch up. Fishing starts from 8 am until dusk, and anglers can also take advantage of the lake’s new level fishing platforms. There’s no night fishing permitted here. 

Children under 16 can only fish if accompanied by a paying adult. 

The campsite also offers free Wi-Fi, a shop, and a fully-licensed bar. Perfect for kicking back after a big day at the lake!

7. Reedham Ferry Complex

Address: Ferry Road, Reedham, Norwich, NR13 3HA

Based in the Norfolk Broads, the Reedham Ferry Complex provides camping with fishing that all walks of life enjoy.

Here you can fish within the campsites on lakes and the nearby River Yare. This is an excellent spot for course fishing and freshwater fishing, and common catches include roach, bream, and tench. 

The four-acre camping site allows touring caravans, motorhomes, and tent pitches. However, all guests must book online before arriving.
